Two men were arrested by Cathedral City police on Monday, accused of shooting and killing a man outside an Applebee's. Police said the shooting happened Sunday night during a fight that involved several people who'd been inside the restaurant, which is located off Date Palm Drive south of Ramon Road. Officers arrived at the scene at around 11:30 p.m. and found that 31-year-old Ernesto Lazcano Arroyo of Cathedral City had been shot. He later died at a hospital. Investigation led officers to a home in the 69100 block of Dinah Shore Drive in the same city, where they did surveillance.
