One person is dead and another was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Indian Canyon Drive near Highway 62 in Desert Hot Springs, according to Cal Fire. The two-vehicle collision was reported at 2:45 p.m. Cal Fire said one of the victims died at the scene. The California Highway Patrol was investigating.
