USC has to be able to win a considerable share of recruiting battles for local prospects. Here's one example: 6-foot-1, 170-pound wideout Xavier Jordan is part of the 2024 class. He is one of the hottest names in recruiting circles in the state of California. USC has dipped its feet in the pool as it should, extending an offer to the electric prospect. The California-based receiver finished his junior season in 2022 with 83 catches for 1,626 yards, 19.6 yards per catch, and 20 touchdowns for Cathedral High School.
