It's getting painful at the gas pumps again. According to Triple AAA we've seen a steady rise in gas prices for almost two months now. At an ARCO in Cathedral City a gallon of unleaded gas is costing $5.59. Friday's national average is about $3.86 and the average here in California is a bit more steep at about $5.78. Reports say one of the reasons we're seeing this increase is because of oil supply cuts in Saudi Arabia and Russia. We heard from a gentleman pumping gas an AMPM in Cathedral City who agrees the price is high, but he says it's a necessity.
